Leveraging the Google Visual Positioning System (VPS) and the Google Places API, the app offers an immersive and informative experience for visitors. I determines the user's location using the Google VPS, allowing for the placement of landmarks and points of interest (POIs) in real-time.
Designed to boost tourism and support local businesses, the app showcases a wide range of attractions such as restaurants, bars, hot springs, hiking trails, ice climbing spots, and gold mines. By providing a comprehensive guide, the app ensures visitors can fully enjoy their stay in Ouray.
The development process involved integrating the Google VPS and Google Places API, enabling accurate positioning, automated information loading, and intuitive navigation.
